Posting this announcement here just in case you missed it on my blog, Facebook, and Twitter:
Snarled Threads (Thalia’s Musings, Volume Two) will be available as a DRM-free ebook for Kindle and NOOK on Wednesday, 12/12/12.
In the meantime, if you haven’t gotten A Snag in the Tapestry for Kindle or NOOK yet, check out the new “Shop” page, and keep an eye on it for further updates as more Thalia’s Musings works become available for purchase.
Happy Holidays!
Is the e-Book compatible with a Kobo?
Short answer: I think so.
NOOK uses the ePub format, which is also what Kobo uses. Since these ebooks are DRM-free, you should be able to transfer the NOOK books to your Kobo. I’ve not actually tried this myself so I’m *not* guaranteeing results, but theoretically it should work.
This article tells how to remove DRM from NOOK books so you can transfer them to any e-reader. Since the Thalia’s Musings books don’t have DRM in the first place, you should be able to skip to the last step: getting the file on a different ePub-compatible reader. (Disclaimer: I am NOT condoning or promoting ebook piracy. I do both condone and promote consumers having full control over digital files that they have legally obtained, such as being able to read them on whatever device they want.) http://www.ebook-converter.com/134-nook-ebook-on-kobo.htm
